GeneratePress review – Is it the best theme ever?

GeneratePress is one of the fastest Themes. Much faster than the biggest Themes, Divi and Elementor.

I built the same page with different page builders. To complete the layout, I needed to use 3 plugins:

I didn’t use the plain GeneratePress install, because it just doesn’t have enough features for a normal page. With the 3 plugins I was able to create it though.

How easy is it to use GeneratePress?

GeneratePress is no normal drag & drop page builder like Beaver Builder. It’s based on the Gutenberg blocks.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have as many features, so you need to know how to use CSS to style the 3rd party modules how you want them to look.

GeneratePress comes packed with dozens of customizable widgets that allow you to add extra content or features to your site. These include social media buttons, contact forms, testimonials, pricing tables, etc.

GeneratePress comes built with several SEO tools that help you optimize your site for search engines. Some of these include title tags, meta descriptions, image alt text, internal links, etc.

I wouldn’t recommend using GeneratePress without GenerateBlocks. Because without it, you can’t create nice layouts and you are missing a lot of features like the global styles.
