Rank Math Pro is here. Is it worth the upgrade?

Rank Math, one of the most popular SEO WordPress plugins, has just released its PRO version. It is Yoast SEO‘s biggest competitor that also has a PRO version. In this article, we’ll look at the features and find out if it’s worth the price.

How much does Rank Math Pro cost?

The price for Rank Math Pro is quite fair. It is much cheaper than Yoast Pro and SEOPress. Unfortunately, there is no lifetime plan, only annuals.

For individuals and solopreneurs, the $59 plan allows tracking of 1000 keywords and installation on unlimited personal websites.

For agencies and SEO freelancers, the Business Plan is the only option at $199 per year that allows you to install the software on client websites. With the Business Plan, you can track up to 20,000 keywords, access the schema generator and get 24/7 priority support.

Since this is the Pro version of the popular Rank Math WordPress plugin, there are a number of pro-level features that come with it. Let’s take a look at them.

Rank Math Pro Functions

The first thing you will see is that the previously free features are now marked as Pro version. This doesn’t mean that you don’t have access to these functions with the free plugin, but you have more functions if you buy the Pro version of Rank Math.

Let’s take a closer look at some of these premium features you get with Rank Math Pro.

Schema Generator

With Rank Math Pro, the Schema Generator also gets a big upgrade, it’s good enough to completely replace other schema tools. The free version doesn’t have as many features.

Globally, you can set it to automatically identify and apply Scheme markups for blog posts, pages, and attachments, but from that single blog post, you can also configure the Scheme manually.

With the free version you can only apply one schema per page, but with the Pro version you can add multiple schemas.

This is super helpful if you’re posting individual product reviews, videos, or anything else that can benefit from the Scheme. It covers pretty much everything a publisher needs and integrates directly with the Gutenberg Post Editor.

SEO Dashboard

The dashboard that comes with the RankMath Pro plugin is incredibly well-designed and a joy to use. It integrates directly with Google Analytics, Google Trends and Google Search Console and acts as a single place where you can view all your ranking and search engine optimization statistics.

For example, the initial dashboard shows your search engine optimization ranking as well as the most important metrics retrieved daily from Google Search Console.

You can then scroll down to see all the keywords you rank for, which is discussed in the next section, as well as click on different tabs to see website analytics, search engine optimization performance, a detailed view of keywords and your rank tracker.

Rank Math Pro Keyword tracking

The main feature that stands out for me, is the keyword tracking feature. With the Business Plan, you can track up to 20,000 individual keywords.

You can enter keywords that you are trying to rank your website for and then see where it ranks. This is super helpful… let’s say you or your client’s website is trying to rank for “best wordpress hosting”.

That’s your keyword. By tracking it, you can see how your competition is ranking and how your own website is ranking. This is very helpful on several levels and usually requires the purchase of a tool like SEMrush or Ahrefs.

Compared to other SEO plugins

Compared to other SEO plugins, Rank Math Pro is the cheapest for multiple pages.

Is Rank Math Pro worth the upgrade?

Rank Math Pro is definitely worth the upgrade. For only $59 you get unlimited websites where you can use the pro version.

You get an awesome dashboard, where you can see all the important SEO data at one place, and a lot more advanced features. All for a small price.
