The 3 best Elementor alternatives in comparison

elementor-alternative

Are you looking for alternatives to Elementor to visually design content in WordPress without needing technical knowledge?

Or maybe just looking for a cheaper Elementor alternative?

Since its launch in 2016, Elementor has quickly become one of the most popular WordPress page builders. The Elementor team has continued to develop new features and by 2024 Elementor is already active on over 8.8 million pages, the highest honor on WordPress.org.

Why look for an Elementor alternative?

Even though Elementor is a great tool, that doesn’t automatically mean it’s the right tool for you. If you’re looking for something different, there are many other high-quality page builders and theme builders in the WordPress space.

Especially the high price of Elementor is a deterrent for many. If the price is the problem, you might be interested that Elementor sometimes offers discounts.

To help you find the right tool for your needs, we’ve compiled three of the best Elementor alternatives that can help you create individual pieces of content or build your entire website.

Divi

divi elementor alternative

Divi is a popular WordPress builder and the biggest Elementor alternative in terms of design flexibility.

If you want more information about Divi, feel free to read my Divi Review on it here.

What’s unique about Divi, however, is that it’s available both as a WordPress theme and as a standalone page builder plugin. If you’re taking the same approach as Elementor, you’ll probably want to stick with the plugin version, but it’s nice to have the option to go both ways.

What does Divi cost?

Divi is available as part of the Elegant Themes membership, which starts at $89 and includes use for an unlimited number of personal and client sites, as well as access to all Elegant Themes products. Both the theme and plugin versions of Divi are included for the same price.

So if you need to use it on many websites, Divi is much cheaper than Elementor Pro. For that, you can get Divi at a discount and save another 10%.

Also, Elegant Themes offers a lifetime license ($249), while Elementor Pro only offers annual licenses. If you create a lot of client websites, it’s hard to argue with this value for money.

Beaver Builder

Beaver Builder doesn’t have as many functions as Elementor, but it specializes in core capability and creates a clearly stable, consistent experience that has earned it a faithful following.

What does the Beaver Builder cost?

Beaver Builder offers a free version on WordPress.org, but it comes with significant limitations and is best suited for simple design needs.

Oxygen

If you have more experience as a Webdev, then Oxygen is a great alternative. It doesn’t have a free version, but it only starts at 129$ as a one-time fee.

Summary

Looking into Elementor alternatives for making content on WordPress, taking things like price and design flexibility into account. Divi, which comes as a theme or a separate plugin, is a cheap choice that starts at $89. Beaver Builder, which has a free version that focuses on core features, and Oxygen, which costs $129 and is designed for experienced web developers.
